# WmHmailserverExporter

Tools from the great 2008 mail migration: a console exporter and a small web frontend that read an hMailServer installation (its MySQL database and log files), reconstructed every account with its credentials, and prepared the estate for migration to a new mail platform.

The archive copy also held the 2008 production logs and database dump this ran against; those stay in the archive. This repository is the code only, with database passwords replaced by placeholders.

## Status: as is

Released as a historical artifact in 2026, unmaintained. Written against hMailServer 4.x-era logs and schema; published for reading and archaeology.
